Job summary

Koppers Inc. seeks a warehouse associate responsible for organizing inventory, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring accurate orders and manifests. You will use forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with shipping/receiving, and maintain strict safety protocols across the distribution process.

Candidates should have forklift certification, prior warehouse exposure, and strong attention to detail to support efficient outbound and inbound flows.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving and hazardous materials handling preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to complete training.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy and basic reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and monitors inventory; documents orders and manifests.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization.
• Receive and process new inventory; verify contents against manifests.
• Unload, stack, and move products; use forklifts and hand carts.
• Label stock for quick identification and perform outbound packing.
• Operate floor sweeper and keep equipment clean and functional.
• Follow SOPs and safety rules; report malfunctions.
• Assist with hazardous waste staging and related duties as assigned.
