Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Material Handler II for a 6:00am–6:00pm Central Warehouse shift. You will move materials, verify part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the ERP system.

Responsibilities include unloading, routing materials, filling and delivering orders, and operating PIT equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift certification and ability to operate PIT safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret Bills of Materials.
• Intermediate computer skills required for inventory and transactions.
• Provide proof of forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 3-5 years PIT or forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials and perform basic bin maintenance.
• Verify quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damaged material.
• Move materials between cells according to routing and orders.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells; operate hand trucks and lifts.
• Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts in the system.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and conserve resources.
• Train others in material handler tasks as needed.
• Document actions with production and quality forms.
• Unload trailers and pick from rack/bin systems; put away materials.
