Job summary

Marathon Electric LLC, now part of WEG Group, seeks a Warehouse Associate II to support inbound/outbound operations, pick/pack, and forklift movement. You will ensure accurate documentation, load goods to pallets, and move inventory while complying with safety rules.

The role requires forklift certification, data entry in ERP, and strong English communication. The position operates in a warehouse environment with potential heights to work at, and involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking

Qualifications

• Must read, write, comprehend and speak English
• Preferred one year forklift experience
• Preferred two years in production or warehouse
• Certified forklift driver or willing to learn
• Experience with import/export, distribution & logistics is a plus
• Strong MS Office & computer skills; Oracle or other MRP system experience
• Experience in Receiving is a plus
• Good data entry, attention to detail and organization skills
• Visual quality inspection and customer service orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle work at heights with harness

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisors to meet goals and deadlines
• Process dock flow including shipments, returns and stocking
• Enter data in Oracle/MRP system
• Review pallets and load trailers
• Move materials from receiving to trailers
• Prepare tickets from customer specifications
• Perform cycle counts and inventory verification
• Receive inventory and reconcile to stock or plant
• Transact material movements in ERP
• Load/unload vehicles and inspect trailers
• Read pick orders and gather items for distribution
• Operate forklift reach truck, Order Picker, Turret Truck or Sit-Down as needed
• Sort materials and place them by predefined criteria
• Use RF scanner to enter records
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Stage materials per pick orders
• Process shipping documentation and reconcile carrier discrepancies
• Create carrier call logs and arrange pickups
• Process Purchase Orders
• File incoming trailer reports
• Perform other duties as assigned
