Job summary

Woodgrain in Sonoma, CA is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and issue materials. You will maintain stock records, count items, and help move goods through the warehouse using a forklift.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification, with 1–3 months of related experience preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months’ related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Other skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually or by using a computer.
• Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors.
