SURESTAFF in Somerville, TN is seeking an experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments. Proficiency with FedEx and UPS small-package systems, attention to detail, and ability to verify, document, stage, and ship products accurately are essential.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, handheld scanner, and experience in warehouse operations. Pay is $18 per hour, with Monday–Friday 7:00 am–4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory.
• Knowledge of FedEx/UPS small-package shipping systems.
• Certified Forklift Operator experience is required.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments.
• Compare received products with purchase orders and report shortages, overages, or damaged items.
• Stage, label, and route received products to the correct warehouse locations.
• Prepare, verify, label, and document outgoing shipments.
• Use FedEx and UPS small-package shipping systems to process orders.
• Confirm item quantities, shipping information, and documentation for accuracy.
• Process and document returns and assist with re-shelving items.
• Enter incoming and outgoing items into the warehouse management system.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other authorized warehouse equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, secure, and safe shipping and receiving areas.
• Participate in audits and inventory counts.
• Lift up to 40 pounds.
