Job summary

Lamour, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to handle outbound dock operations in a fast-paced distribution center in Kentucky. The role requires operating powered equipment, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring on-time dispatch.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of shipping/dock experience, a valid forklift certification, and experience with ShipStation, FedEx, and UPS. Proficiency in Excel and WMS is preferred. Weekly pay and benefits after 90 days are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of shipping or dock operations experience required.
• Valid forklift certification; onsite certification possible.
• Experience with ShipStation, FedEx, UPS and knowledge of BOL documentation preferred.
• Experience using Blue Cherry WMS or other warehouse management systems preferred.
• Basic Excel skills, data entry and updating tracking spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to verify quantities and load accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced dock environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and dock equipment to stage, load, and secure outbound freight.
• Load trucks, trailers, and containers with proper weight distribution.
• Prepare and process outbound customer shipments and shipping docs.
• Create and print shipping labels via ShipStation, FedEx, UPS, USPS.
• Maintain Bills of Lading, packing slips and other docs.
• Update shipping metrics in Excel or ERP system.
• Coordinate carrier pickups and outbound dock scheduling.
• Maintain clean, safe dock areas and report hazards.
