Job summary

Culp,-Inc. in Stokesdale, NC is hiring a Recycle/Warehouse Operator responsible for loading/unloading materials for Knits and Recycling operations, and supporting safe, efficient production.

You will load yarns and beams, supply yarns to knitting machines, manage FIFO labeling, assist with inventory, and follow safety procedures. Forklift certification/training provided; valid driver’s license and basic computer skills required. Strong teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading all yarns (Weaving and Knitting).
• Loading and unloading of all beams for Weaving.
• Supply all yarns for Knitting machines.
• Handle all recycling procedures.
• Assist in cleaning and stripping the production yarn that is dirty or defective so it can be put back in production.
• Assist with monthly physical yarn inventory.
• Responsible for all labeling and FIFO (First In/First Out) on all yarns.
• Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
