Job summary

NIFCO in Canal Winchester, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Packaging and Material Handler to support production by moving packaging to presses, scanning totes, relabeling components, and prioritizing packing based on the daily shortage list.

You will work with quality and safety policies, follow TPM guidelines, and wear safety gear with a forklift certification. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work on your feet is required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and raw materials.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Proven ability to handle distribution issues.
• Knowledge and experience handling quality concerns.
• Must be able to work independently with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle packaging and totes to and from warehouse, presses, and pack stations.
• Locate, scan, and move packaging based on Nifco Packaging Form; check labels and move WIP totes.
