Qualifications

• 3 months experience performing loading/unloading tasks or equivalent.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto or from trucks and pallets.
• Perform load-building for safe hauling based on customer orders.
• Convey materials to/from storage using forklifts or hand trucks.
• Understand and observe safety procedures to prevent injuries.

Skills

Forklift operator certification

Ability to read and write

Manual dexterity

Ability to use simple hand tools

Knowledge of safety procedures

Education

High school diploma or GED
