Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate the transfer of raw materials, parts and finished products between production areas and external warehouses. You will ensure inventory levels meet production schedules and work under close supervision as required.

The role involves using ERP systems, performing forklift operations, and maintaining accurate stock records with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to enter data accurately and use calculator for basic arithmetic.
• High school diploma required; 0–1 years experience acceptable.
• Must be able to pass forklift test.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to operate crane to lift materials over 30 lbs.
• Must be detail oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer of materials between production areas and external warehouses.
• Use work orders and ERP transactions; label parts and deliver to staging areas.
• Replenish Kanban and use-of-bin inventories as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly 5S requirements.
• Transact in the computer system for receipts and stock adjustments.
• Maintain accurate work orders and receipt traveler files.
