Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in South Gate, California, is seeking a Material Handler to operate a forklift and move materials within the on-site warehouse.

You will read shipping documents, perform lifting tasks, and assist in inventory control while adhering to safety rules. The role offers full-time, on-site work with comprehensive benefits and a pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a Company certified forklift driving authorization.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and operate forklift to lift and transport loads.
• Position forks or lifting devices under pallets and move to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials; raise/lower lifting device as needed.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with needed items.
• Weigh materials and record data on tags or production schedules.
• Verify parts leaving facility against purchase orders.
