GEA Group in the United States (Romeoville area) is seeking a production/packaging associate. You will follow GMP and FDA requirements, maintain production flow, prepare packaging materials, and assist with warehousing as needed.

The role requires forklift certification, basic math skills, and the ability to work with Purchasing, R&D, and QA teams. Competitive hourly pay with benefits starts immediately.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of experience.
• Certified to operate various forklift trucks.
• Ability to communicate with Purchasing, R&D and QA teams.
• Familiarity with conveyors, scales, hoists, meters and related procedures.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret measurements.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out and other safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Follow GMP and FDA requirements in manufacturing.
• Maintain steady production flow meeting quality standards.
• Prepare packaging materials and fill/seal/palletize as required.
• Pack regulated hazardous chemicals and ensure proper labeling.
• Monitor fill levels and container appearance; operate equipment.
• Record batch data accurately and report on batch tickets.
• Assist with unloading and warehousing duties as needed.
• Keep work area clean and comply with safety instructions.
