Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in California is seeking a parts-and-orders focused associate to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders with care and efficiency.

You will validate orders, answer questions, and connect customers with the right Lowe’s associates to ensure excellent service. The role requires basic computer and retail technology experience, plus certification for powered equipment (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck).

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience including data entry and access.
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Power equipment certification for Counterbalance forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (required).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and SIMS compliance.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits and order follow-ups.
• Maintain a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
