Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders with accuracy and safety. You will operate powered equipment, validate orders, and connect customers with the right associates to ensure exceptional service.

You will participate in inventory control, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (required; obtain if not certified)

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow all safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance, partnering to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks and report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Maintain a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
