American Peanut Growers Group, LLC is seeking a diligent forklift operator to support production in our Georgia facility. You will manage forklift operations, assist with sanitation, and help ensure material flow and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must obtain forklift license.
• Effective communication required.
• Read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge and arithmetic skills.
• Work safely with minimal supervision.
• Operate forklift in warehouse and production areas.
• Lift up to 50 lbs at shoulder level.
• Climb stairs/ladders and work on elevated platforms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and process sanitation events.
• Perform basic PMs and minor mechanical repairs.
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Work autonomously within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily shift huddles focusing on safety, quality and production.
• Fill out paperwork accurately and timely.
• Operate forklift and pre-cleaning equipment as required.
• Adjust systems to keep materials ready for downstream processes.
• Safely enter racking to retrieve and store materials.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality on food safety concerns.
• Be prepared to work overtime and adjust hours/shifts as needed.
• Rotate duties between forklift driver and dumper weekly.
• Read and follow daily schedule to ensure on-time completion.
