Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience with battery systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of battery components, charging processes, and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular inspections and maintenance of forklift batteries to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot battery issues, such as low voltage or cell damage.
• Test battery capacity, voltage, and health using specialized equipment; monitor performance metrics.
• Determine when a battery needs replacement and install new units; dispose of old batteries properly.
• Document maintenance, repairs, replacements, and performance data; generate reports on battery health.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards for battery handling, storage and disposal.
• Collaborate with forklift technicians and maintenance teams; communicate issues and recommendations clearly.
