Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience with battery systems, preferably in a forklift or automotive setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of battery components, charging processes, and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with battery testing and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting battery-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Battery Maintenance: regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal battery performance.
• Battery Repair: diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as low voltage or cell damage.
• Battery Testing and Monitoring: use tools to test capacity, voltage, and health; monitor performance metrics.
• Battery Replacement: determine end of life, dispose of old batteries, install new ones.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain records and generate reports on battery health and issues.
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety guidelines and regulations for handling and disposal.
• Collaboration and Communication: work with other technicians and stakeholders.
