Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring an OSHA-certified Forklift Operator in Woodland, CA to load/unload trailers and railcars at a fast-paced transloading facility. You will use sit-down or stand-up lifts, track inventory with RF scanners, and perform daily safety inspections.

Required: OSHA-certified forklift license, High School diploma, and 1 year of experience. Hours are 7 AM–4 PM with pay of $19.80–$20 per hour. Randstad offers a full benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Job description

We’re hiring an OSHA-certified Forklift Operator for a fast-paced transloading facility to load and unload trailers and railcars. You will safely handle heavy, irregular freight—like steel coils and construction materials—using sit-down or stand-up counterbalance lifts. Daily duties include tracking inventory with RF scanners, shrink-wrapping pallets, and conducting routine equipment safety inspections.

salary: $19.8 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

The Day-to-Day: You’ll be loading and unloading commercial trailers and railcars in a fast-paced transloading facility.

The Freight: You'll handle heavy and sometimes irregular goods—like construction materials, steel coils, paper rolls, and standard pallets.

The Tech: You’ll use RF scanners to track inventory, log shipments, and manage stock rotation.

The Standard: You're expected to conduct daily OSHA safety inspections on your lift and keep your staging area clean, including shrink-wrapping and banding pallets.

What We Need From You

Experience: Hands-on time driving sit-down or stand-up counterbalance forklifts. (Experience with specialized attachments is a huge plus).

Credentials: A valid, OSHA-compliant forklift certification.

Physicality: The ability to stay active on your feet and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
