Responsibilities

• Handle pallets and packages; print shipping labels and postage; inspect goods received for damage; distribute products to other departments.
• Packaging, weighing, and shipping duties; maintain accurate records.
• Manage daily mail tasks: printing labels, processing certified mail, and mail deliveries to multiple locations.
• Operate and maintain coffee/beverage machine maintenance tasks as described and support general site operations.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Working Conditions:

The position may require the employee to work with chemical and biological agents that may be hazardous to health if mishandled (including agents which may potentially affect reproductive health and/or development of the fetus). Employees will be required to follow all safety procedures and use personal protective clothing/equipment as provided by the company where specified.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to adequately perform required job functions. This includes being able to lift, bend and move in such a way as to perform job tasks in a safe and approved manner. Must be able to operate required equipment required by this position in a safe and approved manner.

Job Functions:

Both written procedures and verbal instructions will be executed with strict attention to safety and quality. Accurate and timely execution of activities and results are a requirement. Strict adherence to federal, state and local regulations is required. Collaborative work with other employees is a necessity to achieve departmental and company goals. Responsible for performing all duties assigned by management including handling pallets and packages, keeping accurate records, packaging, and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments. Cleaning of bean-to-cup machines, restocking of coffee machines and restocking of coffee supplies. Handling and delivering pouch Mail, processing Certified Mail, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time, paper deliveries weekly to 10 copy/mailrooms, processing (Tracking System) and hand deliveries of all Accountable Mail to the customer, some computer work, and customer phone calls/inquiries.. Maintains safety checklists. Working knowledge of all functions including shipping, receiving, mail. Must possess a valid driver's license and complete appropriate training based on vehicles utilized where applicable.

Skills:

Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision. Must be Forklift Certified or obtain within 3 months of employment. This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Expected compensation for this position: 44,059.00 – 44,059.00 USD per year
