Job summary

NTA Precision Axle Corporation is seeking a first shift Forging Operator to help ensure the safe production of quality hub bearing parts. You will forge and trim components as part of a press team and document results to maintain high standards of precision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. Overtime and PPE requirements apply in a manufacturing environment, with shift differentials offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or mechanical work.
  • Ability to operate basic machine controls and line equipment.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Ability to recognize quality issues and document results.
  • Proficiency with basic shop mathematics and measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Forge and trim parts for automobile hub bearing units in a small team.
  • Operate and adjust forge press per guidelines and safety rules.
  • Set up dies and tooling, verify tolerances with gauges.
  • Complete quality and production records accurately.
  • Communicate anomalies to the supervisor and follow PPE rules.
  • Maintain 5S in the work area and follow company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
