Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or metalworking preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in high-heat environments and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.
• Willingness to learn forge equipment operation and follow processes.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist forge operators with setup, operation, and shutdown of forging equipment.
• Prepare raw materials and ensure proper loading and positioning for forging processes.
• Inspect materials for defects prior to forging.
• Monitor forge area conditions, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of forge tools and machinery.
• Transport materials using forklifts or approved equipment.
• Record production data and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement, quality, and safety initiatives.
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
