Job summary

Hendrickson in Medina, NY is seeking an operator to run the Forge Robotic Cell, including induction heater/table, upsetter, and forge press. You will adjust tooling, inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, and support other duties as needed.

The role pays hourly, $19.00–$22.35 with an additional $0.90 for 2nd shift, and requires a High School Diploma or GED with strong measurement and blueprint-reading skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Computer literacy to record information.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders and blueprints to determine the program to run.
• Reviews material requirements and determines machine adjustments.
• Sets up machines with provided programs and makes adjustments as needed.
• Manually maneuvers robots when necessary.
• Measures parts to ensure dimensional accuracy using precision gauges.
• Follows written and oral work instructions.
• Works well with supervision and co-workers.
