Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a Production Team Member to support the Forged Technologies unit. The role involves inspecting parts for defects, tagging parts, and performing checks to ensure embossments and lettering are legible.

The production team reports to the Team Leader on their shift and supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include handling repetitive tasks, walking/standing on stairs and inclines, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English language and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks accurately.
• Comfortable walking on stairs and standing for long periods in a production setting.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality.
• Tag parts appropriately and complete necessary checks.
• Ensure embossments and lettering are legible on manufactured parts.
• Separate and tag any defected or suspect parts for rework or discard.

thyssenkrupp integrated its Forging & Machining and Undercarriage businesses to start the new business unit Forged Technologies. The production team member reports directly to the Production Team Leader on their shift.

Responsibilities include:

Inspecting part for defects
Tagging parts appropriately
Completing necessary checks and inspections
Ensuring embossments and lettering are legible
Separating and tagging defected or suspect parts

Required:

• Proficient in English Language.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Walking in a manufacturing setting with multiple stairs and inclines; standing for long periods of time.
• High School Diploma or GED.

We Prefer:

• 1-5 years of previous manufacturing experience and operating heavy machinery.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow step-by-step procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to pay great attention to detail and identify defects.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
