Qualifications

• 2-5 years of forging experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot or cold forging presses to shape metal.
• Position and adjust dies using cranes and hand tools.
• Monitor equipment and correct minor problems.
• Check the set-up and maintain production records.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Follow safety rules and overtime as scheduled.
• Load and unload furnaces and heat metal prior to forging.
• Place heated or cold metal on the die of the press.
