Job summary

TSC Consultants Inc. is seeking Forge Operators in Cleveland, Ohio, to join our manufacturing team across all shifts. You will coordinate forging support functions, assist in furnace setup and die assembly, and operate cranes as needed to support production.

Candidates should follow strict safety and quality standards, perform maintenance tasks, and keep accurate records. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing or forging environments is a plus.
• Ability to follow strict safety and quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all forging support functions such as tool housing assembly, in-process inspection, flash removal, etc.
• Perform other labor support functions for forging activities such as die lubrication, die maintenance, die inspection, material handling, etc.
• Assist in safe and efficient set-up forging furnaces per product-specific set-up requirements.
• Assist in safe and efficient die assembly into the press.
• Operate overhead cranes and/or radio controlled cranes when required.
• Maintain reports and recordkeeping as required.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain housekeeping in all work areas.
• Follow plant safety rules at all times.
• Maintain highest quality standards in the execution of all assigned work.
• Perform other routine labor work as assigned and as required by production flow.
