Job summary

American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Forge to join their North Vernon, IN location. This role involves leading the manufacturing engineering team and overseeing the development and implementation of production processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in manufacturing processes and provide technical leadership for continuous improvement and operational support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing/machining, forging, or powdered metal processes.
• 3+ years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Operating knowledge of engineering software (CAD, Mastercam, CATIA, MATLAB).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering staff.
• Develop manufacturing processes and resultant investment for new product programs.
• Ensure all quality standards are met as it relates to process development.
