Job summary

Maverick Currencies is seeking self-directed, entry-friendly traders to join our independent contractor network. This remote role welcomes applicants anywhere in Idaho, with Boise as a sample of where traders are based.

You design your trading day, with no fixed shifts and no clock-ins, trading on a funded account you control. Training is provided to build core skills, and there’s no requirement for prior trading experience.

Maverick Currencies, founded in 1997, is looking for self-directed, entry-friendly traders to join our independent contractor network. This opportunity is remote and open to applicants anywhere in Idaho — Boise is simply one example of where our traders are based, not a requirement to live there.

This role is built around flexibility. Design your trading day the way that fits your life: many traders focus on the markets during morning sessions when volatility is active, then keep afternoons free for family, school, a second job, or simply downtime. There are no fixed shifts and no clock-in requirements. You decide when, how, and how much you trade, within the structure of your funded account.

What You'll Do

• Trade forex and crypto markets using your own strategy and judgment
• Manage a funded account, with capital allocations available up to $400,000 based on demonstrated performance
• Complete our training program to build core skills — no prior trading experience required
• Operate independently, from anywhere in Idaho, on a schedule you control

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position — not a salaried or hourly job. Compensation is performance-based through a profit split ranging from 65% to 90%, paid out on profits you generate. Trading profits are never guaranteed, and traders who are not profitable in a given period earn no income from this role. This structure rewards skill and consistency, not time logged.
