This position is with the MS Forestry Commission and is responsible for Area 45, which consists of Forrest, Greene, and Perry Counties. Incumbent will report to the Area Forester in the above referenced area. Second-level vocational Forestry position accountable for coordinating the activities of lower-level positions in the prevention and suppression of forest fires. Jobs at this level are responsible for directing fire prevention and control activities, construction and maintenance work, informational and educational program activities, and forest management practices in an assigned area of the state.

Preferred Qualifications
