This position is with the Mississippi Forestry Commission in Area 41, with duties and responsibilities in Adams, Amite, Franklin, and Wilkinson counties. Second-level professional Forestry position accountable for planning, organizing, and developing forest protection, forest management or administrative services programs. Jobs at this level prepare detailed forest management plans for landowners; mark timber; assist in locating timber markets; and supervise prescribed burning activities.
