Job summary

Northern Sonoma County Fire Protection District seeks a Forestry Technician 4 to lead the fuels crew on field projects within the district. This full-time role provides supervision, coordinates vegetation management projects, and ensures the crew operates safely and efficiently.

The FT4 will deliver training, assign daily duties, monitor progress, and maintain equipment while liaising between crew and Forestry Technician 5.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of fuels crew experience.
• Ability to pass Work Capacity Test at the Arduous Level within 3 months of hire.

Minimum Qualifications:
