Job summary

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Hardwood Silviculture- Timber Stand Improvement

• Identify eastern U.S. tree and shrub species using botanical traits and silvics
• Recognize exotic and invasive plant species
• Execute shelterwood, group selection, and other management systems
• Conduct crop tree selection, thinning, and release treatments via herbicide injection, basal bark spraying, and mechanical methods

Timber Cruising and Forest Inventories

• Navigate remote terrain using digital maps and GPS across varying topography
