• Bachelor's degree in forestry or natural resource management fields (ecology, wildlife biology, fire management, recreation management, forest soils, hydrology, or range science).
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provides leadership, vision, and management for all Unit operations.
• Implements Forestry and Trust Land programs; supervises staff; manages budgets and contracts.
• Administers land use licenses and leases; represents the DNRC with partners and the public.
• Balances resource protection with revenue generation and public expectations using professional judgment.
• Manages unit compliance with natural resource laws and regulations; initiates corrective actions as needed.
• Authors and administers program budgets and coordinates procurement and maintenance.
