City of Allen is seeking a full-time tree care and maintenance worker responsible for pruning, tree removal, debris cleanup, and operating heavy equipment across parks and city facilities. The role supports landscaping, safety, and public interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with one year of relevant experience trimming and pruning trees.
• Preference for rigging and climbing knowledge and felling of trees.

Responsabilités

• Prune and remove trees; inspect for diseases and defects in parks and public grounds.
• Operate and maintain hazardous equipment like chainsaws; perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist with landscape installations and maintenance; till beds and edging; tractor operations.
• Educate citizens about park conditions and direct questions to appropriate departments.
