Job summary

Ceres Forestry is seeking a Groundsman in Stockton, CA, to support logging and forestry operations. The role includes site preparation, operating hand tools, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates should have experience in forestry, logging, or outdoor labor, as well as strong situational awareness and the ability to work in challenging environments. Compensation ranges from $17 to $25 per hour based on experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as medical and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be willing to wear PPE including hard hat and protective eyewear.

Responsibilities

• Support logging and forestry operations.
• Assist with site preparation for vegetation management.
• Operate hand tools and light equipment.

Skills

Experience in logging, forestry, landscaping, or general outdoor labor

Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions

Strong situational awareness in hazardous environments

Chainsaw experience or certification
