Job summary

The role requires several years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience, including equipment operation, plus a PA CDL and residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Four years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience including one year operating construction equipment.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Active PA driver's license and PA CDL.
• Must meet PA residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance workers and oversee repair and upkeep of forest roads, trails, and facilities.
• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and determine equipment and supply needs.
• Manage repairs to buildings, trails, roads, culverts, and recreational areas.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and conduct safety training.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate major repairs.
• Supervise fire crews and assist with fire suppression and equipment upkeep.
