Job summary

Flathead Valley Community College seeks applicants to teach an on-campus, face-to-face course in Forest Fire Management and Environmental Change for spring semester 2027. The semester runs from January 19 – May 13, 2027.

Minimum qualifications include three years in the field or three years of post-secondary education in the discipline with work experience; a Master’s degree is preferred. This is a temporary, non-benefit eligible position paid by credits taught.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the field or three years of post-secondary education in the discipline plus work experience.
• Master’s degree in the field or closely related discipline preferred.
• Experience using an online LMS platform and teaching in higher education.
• Ability to engage students and manage instructional records.
