The Forescout Cyber Security Engineer role focuses on safeguarding IT infrastructure by managing cybersecurity controls and boosting detection capabilities within a collaborative team environment. Strong communication across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems administration for Windows or Linux.
• Experience architecting and documenting IP networks/topologies.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification and CSSP-IS eligibility.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years, Associate 5+ years, or Master 1+ year experience; experience may substitute degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and communicate security concepts to diverse audiences including senior management.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, enhance detection and event correlation in large environments.
• Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments using big data analytics to identify threats.
