Job summary

Cinteot Inc. in the Washington, DC area seeks a Forescout Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard our IT infrastructure and to enhance detection capabilities.

You will collaborate with teams, manage security controls, and contribute to risk assessments using big data analytics to identify threats.

Required: TS/SCI with CI polygraph and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certifications, plus Windows/Linux administration expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Windows or Linux systems administration, incl. troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and security upgrades.
• Experience architecting IP networks and documenting topologies.
• Knowledge of multi-domain data center, WAN, and LAN in virtualized environments.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification requirements (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND).
• Ability to obtain CSSP-IS certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with other teams and communicate security concepts to executives.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, enhancing detection and event correlation in large enterprises.
• Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments across network, systems, and applications using analytics.
