Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Hazleton is seeking a Foreperson to direct and coordinate pavement marking operations for construction projects. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure equipment readiness and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, organization, and hands-on work with trucks and warehouse tools; a valid license for forklift operation and a clean driving record are required, with pre-employment checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow given directions.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 70 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic carpentry skills; proficient with hand and power tools and warehouse equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required for forklift operation; certification preferred.
• Good driving record; able to pass background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, providing necessary direction and support.
• Manage all aspects of inventory, including conducting cycle counts.
• Ensure trucks are equipped with appropriate hardware, tools, and equipment per standard checklists.
• Load and unload trucks manually and with a forklift.
• Provide monthly updates on equipment or materials not acceptable for use.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; assist in the sign shop as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
