Job summary

The Washington State Patrol Information Technology Division (ITD) is seeking an IT professional to support the Forensics Laboratory Services Bureau (FLSB) IT systems. You will ensure daily system operation, monitor data integrity, and serve as the primary contact for system issues, with a focus on CJIS security and data accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a STEM field with 4 years of IT experience, or
Associate degree with 6 years of IT experience, or 8 years of IT experience in consulting, analyzing, designing, programming, installing or maintaining IT systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure daily system operation and uptime.
Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
Provide technical end-user support and liaise with vendors as needed.
Code, debug, and test SQL queries to repair data records and validate changes.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement changes via SQL reports.
