AFS is seeking a Forensic Analyst to support a new and exciting opportunity. As a Forensic Analyst at AFS, you'll perform technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code; analyze and overcome techniques (involving unpacking, de-obfuscation, and anti-debugging) designed to defeat detection; ascertain functionality, capability, and call-backs of malicious code; assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure and identification of indicators of compromise; work with the customer to provide information and documentation of malware characteristics and properties to enable malware detection; develop and implement mitigation strategies to build high-confidence YARA/SNORT rules and signatures.
A.A. and 13 years of in-depth relevant experience OR B.S. and 11 years of in-depth relevant experience OR M.S. and 9 years of in-depth relevant experience OR PhD and 7 years of in-depth relevant experience.
An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is: $143,700—$207,100 USD.
