Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of an associate's degree in forensic science, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher may substitute for education/experience requirements as stated.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and data entry of arrestee and convicted offender samples.
• Preparation of reagents and laboratory supply management.
• Basic equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Computerized data entry and record-keeping.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher with 16 credits in job-specific coursework allowed substitution
