U.S. Forensic is seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer specializing in Civil/Structural Engineering. The successful candidate will investigate and analyze structural failures, requiring a strong background in civil or structural engineering and the ability to provide expert testimony when necessary.

The position is located near Philadelphia, PA with the flexibility to support cases in the surrounding area. The role includes 25% to 50% travel and a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
Forensic engineering experience is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
Experience with expert testimony in legal proceedings is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct forensic investigations of structural damage, defects and failures.
Perform site inspections and data collection for analysis.
Analyze structural issues using engineering principles.
Prepare clear technical reports with findings.
Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
Stay current with industry trends, codes and standards.
