Job summary

U.S. Forensic, LLC, a partner of Applied Technical Services, is seeking a Professional Engineer specializing in Civil/Structural Engineering to investigate failures, assess damage, and prepare reports. The successful candidate will provide expert testimony when required and support cases in the Philadelphia area.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Eng, a PE license, and strong communication skills. Forensic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive forensic investigations to evaluate structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion evaluations, premises liability claims, and roof assessments.
  • Perform site inspections and gather relevant data to support forensic analysis.
  • Utilize engineering principles and practices to analyze and assess structural issues.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports outlining findings and conclusions.
  • Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
  • Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards related to structural engineering.
  • Other duties as assigned
