Seeking an experienced Structural Engineer, P.E., who has a strong background in structural engineering design and failure analysis of commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
The ideal candidate will have forensic engineering experience determining causes of structural failure, post-fire damage, storm damage assessments, roof damage, water intrusion, building collapse, structural integrity, building envelope, construction, or design defects. Candidates with construction or design backgrounds who hold a P.E. license are encouraged to apply.
This is a remote role, working from a home-based office and requires working in a variety of environments and a combination of travel (local or regional). Prefer candidate reside in one of the posted locations. Must have P.E. license in resident state.
To investigate events, systems, devices and/or failures and provide expert opinions; to provide guidance and leadership ethically and scientifically on complex engineering assignments; to contribute to overall profitability of the company through providing expert/engineering consulting services.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $95,000-$145,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
