As a Forensic Social Worker 1, you will be providing direct supervision to social work staff on assigned units in the forensic sections of Norristown State Hospital. In this position, you will ensure that services are provided efficiently within established time frames in accordance with all regulatory and professional standards. You will be responsible for completing Biopsychosocial Assessments. You can expect to participate in developing, coordinating, and facilitating treatment plans in conjunction with other clinical treatment team members. Additionally, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on services and reviews of reports, as well as assist with admissions and coordinate discharges on assigned units.
