The School of Interdisciplinary Forensics at Arizona State University invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible tenured or tenure-eligible faculty position in the forensic science program, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree by time of appointment.
• Ability to establish and sustain a vigorous program of forensic science research.
• Evidence of effective undergraduate and/or graduate teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain a vigorous program of research in forensic science.
• Seek external research funding.
• Create and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in forensic science in multiple formats.
• Mentor students in research and professional development.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary research and program development.
• Contribute service to School, College, University, profession and community.

Education

Ph.D. or terminal degree in biology, chemistry, toxicology, biochemistry, physics, forensic science, or closely related field
