Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree by appointment time.
• Proven research program with applications in forensics.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; mentoring students.
• Ability to secure external research funding; engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain a vigorous program of research in forensic science.
• Seek external research funding appropriate to the candidate’s discipline.
• Create and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in forensic science in multiple formats.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research and professional development.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary research and program development across forensic science and related fields.
• Contribute meaningful service to the School, College, University, profession, and community.
• Attend faculty unit and committee meetings per unit expectations.
