Job summary

Arizona State University’s School of Interdisciplinary Forensics invites applications for Faculty Associate positions for the 2026–2027 academic year to develop and teach courses on the legal aspects of interdisciplinary forensics. Positions are one semester, fixed-term, non-benefits-eligible, up to 0.40 FTE per semester, with course load dependent on enrollment and funds.

Qualifications

ABA-accredited law degree or equivalent with at least three years of legal practice or a judicial clerkship.
Alternatively, a terminal degree in criminology, criminal justice, psychology, political science, sociology, or related field with teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with instructional designers and full-time faculty to develop new interdisciplinary forensics courses.
Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats.
Prepare syllabi, lectures, learning exercises, exams, and assessments.
Maintain regular availability to students including office hours.
Monitor student success and respond to academic issues.
Contribute to program development and cross-disciplinary initiatives.
