Job summary

Arizona State University’s School of Interdisciplinary Forensics (SIF) invites applications for a full-time tenured or tenure-eligible faculty position. The area of specialization is open within psychology and law, with emphasis on clinical forensic psychology, correctional psychology, or police psychology.

The successful candidate will join ASU’s Law and Behavioral Science group, collaborate across ASU units, and engage in empirical research while contributing to undergraduate and graduate

Qualifications

• Ph.D., Psy.D., or other terminal degree in psychology by appointment time.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying behavioral science to law or the legal system.
• For Associate/Full Professor, a record of teaching, research, and service meriting tenure.
• Significant experience in forensic clinical assessment or related areas is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain a vigorous program of research.
• Seek external research funding appropriate to the candidate’s program.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in diverse formats (in-person, hybrid, online).
• Develop collaborations with justice-system partners (courts, law enforcement, correctional systems).
• Mentor students in research and professional development.
• Contribute service to School, College, University and community.
